Optical Shop

The Optical Shop at Dr. Arunga’s Eye Hospital provides patients with access to prescription eyeglasses following their eye examination and visual assessment. It forms an important part of the hospital’s comprehensive approach to eye care—connecting eye examination, diagnosis, prescription and vision correction in one setting.

Dr. Arunga’s Eye Hospital boasts a “Full range of eyeglasses” among its major services. Good vision correction begins with an accurate eye examination. Patients can have their eyes assessed by the hospital's eye-care team to determine whether they require spectacles and, where appropriate, establish the prescription needed for clear vision.

The Optical Shop then provides an opportunity to obtain prescription glasses based on the recommended correction. This integrated approach makes the process more convenient for our patients because assessment and optical services are available within the same eye-care facility.
