NEW GENERAL ANAESTHESIA MACHINE FOR FORT PORTAL CAMPUS

In a bid to continue to improve service delivery to all our customers, we continue to bring world class equipment to help in Eye care. Today we welcomed a new addition to our facility in Fort Portal: an Anaesthesia Machine. 

Although most patients do not need to be made to sleep during eye surgery, there are situations where this is a requirement. For example in children, difficult eye operations and in extreme anxiety.  In the past, these patients had to go to our campus in Mbarara to access this service.

Installation of this machine at the Fortportal campus means that all patients who require to be made to sleep during eye surgery do not have to travel far, ensuring prompt access to service and saving on cost, time and disruptions.

Dr. Arunga's Eye Hospital is committed to providing the best eye health solutions for the people of Uganda to continue to preserve and uphold the "Gift of Sight".
