A word from Chairman

Eyesight is a key pillar of society's growth.

With good eye health, people are able to optimize economic productivity and development. Advances in technology have made eye health delivery safer and with more predictable outcomes. Unfortunately, these advances are not available in many low- and Middle-Income

countries. For example, in Uganda, many people have had to travel out of the country to access this latest technology in eye care treatment. Yet not everybody has the capacity to afford this access. In addition, the Covid-19 pandemic has taught us all that we cannot always travel to America, Europe, or India for Medical care.


As Dr Arunga's Eye Hospital, our focus is to close this gap by bringing advanced eye care technology closer to the people and making it available at affordable costs. We have assembled a team of highly trained eye health professionals fully equipped with modern eye diagnostic and treatment facilities, to provide high-quality comprehensive eye care services that are comparable to many centres of excellence across the world. We do not only aspire to provide optimum care but also give our clients a "seat at the table" to have a say in the management of their eye health conditions - A people-centered eye care model that recognizes the patients as equal partners in the management of their conditions.
